Еxhaled air warms the mask up
Inhaled air first cools the air inside the block, after which the vapor condenses (effect of phase transition), which helps excess heat to vanish.
VIRUSMASKI
It is well-known that simple face masks do not kill viruses. The breath protection they provide is based on filtration of the inhaled air. Bacteria carried by water drops stay on the mask's surface and do not penetrate to the lungs. However, they remain vital and therefore it is recommended to change the face mask each several hours. In addition, simple masks do not protect the breath against bacteria carried by the dust particles and the virus molecules as such.
